Halfway Creek Lutheran church is a 150 year old congregation 2.5 miles East of Holmen, WI. Halfway Creek's original building was the location of the founding of Luther College, now in Decorah, Iowa. The building illustrations here was built in 1914, after the original church, built in 1868, was struck by lightning and burned down.
